Daylight Shines

 

Daylight shines on a grassy meadow with flowers of blue and green and yellow,

with children dancing and animals prancing on a fun spring day.

 

Where everything is mellow,

where we hear the bells ring and we hear the birds sing.

 

With prom on it's way I can't wait for that day,

spring has sprung and I'm glad it's begun.

 

Welcome spring and flowers and sun,

welcome spring I'm glad you've begun.

 

I love splashing in puddles on fun rainy days,

then seeing a rainbow and shouting hooray.

 

Then prom comes and I get filled up with glee

so much that I started, so much that I started

singing and dancing yippee.
